About the Role

The Group Head Market Analytics & Insights is a pivotal role supporting Nord Anglia Education’s commercial growth. This position leads the commercial data and insights function, collaborating closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and Regional Teams to ensure decisions are data-driven. The role is responsible for the quality, consistency, and development of commercial data reporting and analytics across NAE, including frameworks, dashboards, and performance measures. The successful candidate will lead teams providing market and parent insights, as well as whole-of-funnel school-by-school data to inform Central, Regional, and school teams. Additionally, the role will lead a market intelligence capability, combining internal performance data with external market, customer, and competitor insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, supporting decisions on enrolment growth, pricing, positioning, marketing, and school strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the global market analytics and insights function, defining strategy, standards, and best practices for reporting, analytics, and performance measurement.
  • Own marketing and enrolment performance frameworks, establishing consistent KPIs, metrics, and reporting across central, regional, and school teams.
  • Drive data-led decision-making by identifying key performance trends, opportunities, risks, and drivers across the customer and enrolment journey.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing analytics team, ensuring high-quality insight, stakeholder responsiveness, and continuous capability growth.
  • Deliver market intelligence and competitor analysis, combining internal data with external market research to assess demand, market position, and growth opportunities.
  • Provide strategic commercial insight to support enrolment growth, pricing, positioning, customer acquisition, and marketing investment decisions.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations, influencing senior leaders and shaping business strategy across the global school portfolio.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships across Marketing, Finance, Operations, Strategy, and Technology, acting as the trusted expert and lead voice for analytics, reporting, and market insight.

Requirements

  • Degree-level education in a relevant discipline from a recognised institution.
  • Postgraduate or professional qualifications in data, analytics, business, economics, market research, or a related discipline are advantageous.
  • Significant experience leading data, analytics, reporting, or insights within a Marketing, Commercial, or customer-focused function in a complex, multi-site, or international organisation.
  • Proven track record of leading teams responsible for recurring performance reporting, dashboards, analytics, and actionable insight.
  • Strong experience defining KPIs, reporting frameworks, and data standards, with responsibility for data quality and consistency.
  • Experience combining multiple data sources to diagnose performance, identify trends, and support commercial decision-making.
  • Experience in market intelligence, customer insight, or competitor analysis, with the ability to connect external context to internal performance.
  • Experience working with senior leaders and influencing decision-making across multiple functions or geographies.
  • Familiarity with the international schools sector, premium education, or another multi-site consumer-facing environment is advantageous.

Skills

  • Advanced analytical and data literacy, with the ability to interrogate, interpret, and synthesise complex quantitative and qualitative information.
  • Strong understanding of performance reporting, KPI design, dashboarding, data governance, and data quality principles.
  • Ability to translate complex data and analysis into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences.
  • Strong understanding of marketing and commercial performance drivers, including the customer journey, enrolment, pricing, positioning, and growth.
  • Strong market research capability, including demand, competitor, and customer analysis.
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills; additional languages are advantageous.
