About the Role

Bodyshop Manager opportunity at a leading accident repair centre in Harrow. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of a busy repair facility, ensuring high standards of quality, customer service, productivity, and team performance. The successful candidate will play a key role in workshop operations and team development within a fast-paced, professional environment focused on operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Ensure the team is ready to begin work at 7:00am, including opening the workshop and preparing equipment.
Hold daily morning meetings to allocate work, communicate targets, and address operational issues.
Oversee the correct use of equipment, tools, and PPE, promoting a safe and efficient working environment.
Liaise with senior management regarding vehicle progress, workload, and operational challenges.
Ensure repair management systems are updated accurately to provide customers with timely progress updates.
Order parts for upcoming repairs at least three business days in advance where possible.
Manage workshop capacity and vehicle throughput effectively.
Ensure all repair documentation and image records are completed accurately.
Monitor and control wet and dry stock levels.
Maintain quality control standards throughout every stage of the repair process.
Drive performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction across the operation.
Support the ongoing development and wellbeing of team members.

Requirements

Previous experience in a Bodyshop Manager, Workshop Manager, or similar leadership role within the accident repair industry.
Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes and workshop operations.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Confident communication and leadership abilities.
Strong IT and systems proficiency.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
A collaborative approach with a commitment to supporting and developing others.
Results-driven with a focus on quality, efficiency, and customer service.
