About the Role

The Disney Trainee Program offers a maximum of 6 months of practical experience to enhance and acquire technical and professional skills. Participants will have the opportunity to work with diverse Disney cast members and professionals, supported and guided by a dedicated internship program team. This program is designed for individuals currently studying design at an art university or college, or university students interested in the work of Disney's design department.

Responsibilities

  • Support mood board creation (Keynote)
  • Provide graphic design support for asset development (Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Conduct market research and provide idea support for new asset development
  • Collect and create various other materials

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an art university, graduate school, or vocational school (year level not specified)
  • Ability to create designs using tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Keynote
  • Availability to work 3 days or more per week for less than 20 hours, or work from home (working hours: between 9:30 AM and 6:00 PM)
  • Ability to start working around October 2026
  • Ability to participate in work for 20 hours per week
  • Interest and enthusiasm for the entertainment business
  • Willingness to maintain confidentiality regarding trade secrets obtained through the internship
  • Agreement not to provide information about the program's content to unspecified third parties via the internet or other means (e.g., Facebook, X (formerly Twitter)) without authorization
  • Ability to work at our office (Toranomon Hills Mori Tower)
  • Understanding and interest in the Disney brand and franchise properties (especially Mickey & Friends, Disney Classics, Pixar, Disney Animation (WDAS))
  • Ability to propose fresh ideas and graphic design skills
  • Attention to detail in design
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive learning attitude
