About the Role
BBP offers an environment where you can focus on good TGA planning, free from the pressures of tight deadlines and constant coordination. Our 22-person TGA team fosters close collaboration among specialists, project managers, construction supervisors, and BIM/CAD coordinators. You will be responsible for planning wastewater, water, and gas systems, as well as dry fire suppression systems for demanding new construction and renovation projects.
Responsibilities
- Take on specialist planning for water, wastewater, gas, and dry fire suppression systems, overseeing your discipline through the relevant service phases.
- Plan cost group 410 within HOAI service phases 1-7.
- Develop technically and economically sound solutions.
- Create calculations, planning documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with authorities, utility companies, and involved specialist planners.
- Perform collision detection and shaft allocation with heating, ventilation, and electrical disciplines.
- Support your discipline through the tendering process.
- Provide technical support during the implementation of the plan.
Requirements
- Experience in planning water, wastewater, and gas systems.
- Ability to independently manage projects after an onboarding period.
- Completed degree in building services engineering, TGA, energy/building/environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field.
- Alternatively, a technical apprenticeship or further training as a state-certified technician with relevant professional experience.
- Experience with HOAI service phases 1-7.
- Knowledge of VDI 6026 and relevant technical regulations and standards.
- Proficient use of common planning tools, ideally AutoCAD and liNear.
- Experience with AVA software.
- Knowledge of Revit is advantageous but not required.
- Enjoyment of independent planning and professional exchange.
