About the Role

As a Working Student in Fundraising, you will support the expansion of fundraising activities with your ideas and structured approach. You will work closely with the Communications and Fundraising Officer, the Managing Director, and other foundation colleagues, gaining exciting insights into the setup and processes of professional fundraising within a growing health foundation.

Responsibilities

• Research potential foundations, companies, and other funding partners, analyze funding opportunities, and assist in preparing new fundraising activities.
• Support the creation and distribution of newsletters, mailings, and donation appeals, formulating target-group-specific texts and informing supporters about our work.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of our fundraising database, meticulously handle donation and funding data, and manage organizational tasks such as sending thank-you letters or information materials.
• Assist in the preparation and execution of fundraising events and represent our foundation at selected events.

Requirements

• Enrolled student, preferably in Non-Profit Management, Communication Studies, or a comparable field.
• Ideally, possess initial experience and knowledge in fundraising or the non-profit sector and an interest in social engagement.
• Enjoy research and independently exploring new topics.
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with numbers, lists, and data.
• Meticulous, structured, and detail-oriented work approach.
• Enjoy communicating with diverse target groups and present yourself friendly and professionally at events.
• Willingness to support our foundation for approximately 15 hours per week.
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
