About the Role

The Customer Service Consultant role focuses on providing outstanding service, educating customers on digital platforms, and ensuring financial inclusion. Responsibilities

  • Play a pivotal role within the Branch Customer Service Team as the first point of contact for customers.
  • Take ownership of individual customer needs and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Educate customers on HSBC digital services and fraud awareness.
  • Identify customers in vulnerable situations and determine appropriate support.
  • Assist customers with complex banking needs to ensure they feel supported.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills for effective conversations, building connections, and showing empathy.
  • Ability to take ownership of customer inquiries through to resolution.
  • Deliver a personalized, friendly, and efficient service.
  • Resilience to work in a continuously changing environment.
  • Previous Customer Service experience is helpful but not essential.
  • Ability to hold a conversation and a genuine passion for customer service.
