About the Role

We are seeking a pedagogical specialist (m/f/d) to join our management team as a department head for outpatient integration assistance for children and adolescents, starting October 1, 2026. The position is part-time, 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Leadership, organization, and further development of the department in cooperation with other department heads.
• Coordination and leadership of the specialist team at the location.
• Responsible management and organization of the location.
• District and supra-district acquisition and coordination of case inquiries, professional supervision.
• Negotiations with district offices and socio-psychiatric services in Berlin.
• Close cooperation with location department heads, management, Senate administration, district offices, socio-psychiatric services, and cooperation partners.
• Full representation of the provider's interests in all districts, public relations, participation in committees.
• Project selection.
• Administrative tasks.

Requirements

• Recognized degree as a social worker, social pedagogue, remedial pedagogue, psychologist, or comparable qualification.
• Practical experience and legal knowledge in the area of assistance according to SGB IX.
• Leadership and management experience is desirable.
• Identification with the mission statement of LebensWelt: appreciative attitude, intercultural and systemic approach, resource orientation.
