About the Role

Ecolab's Pest Elimination team is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a multi-million pound field service business and a team of District Managers and associates. This role involves delivering financial and operational goals, building a strong team culture, and ensuring excellent customer service and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver team financial and operational goals, manage a significant P&L statement, and communicate performance expectations.
  • Assure execution on overall regional and divisional objectives, stressing safe working behaviors and business protocols.
  • Partner with centralized support, sales, and marketing teams to drive sales growth through market penetration and improved customer relationships.
  • Develop Senior District Managers with a focus on succession planning.
  • Hold managers accountable for managing a route service business and meeting objectives including profitability, service protocols, route goals, and customer satisfaction/retention.
  • Take an active role in hiring, assessing, and developing associates.
  • Create an environment that promotes a diverse, inclusive, and engaged culture.
  • Spend significant time in the field with associates, customers, and sales partners to achieve objectives and provide solutions.
  • Monitor and maintain standards for regulatory and licensing compliance, and implement division and corporate policies within the region.

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ degree OR equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Strong motorway networks for national travel.

Skills

  • Team management, preferably including managing people managers.
  • Successful management and leadership in a service-related industry.
  • Management experience in a route service based environment.
  • Ability to implement change initiatives and adapt to changing business environments.
  • Proven record of successful P&L management experience, including meeting financial targets.
  • Demonstrated leadership and career progression to managing managers level in a large route service organisation.
  • Knowledge of key operational and route service systems.

  • Additional £3,000. London Weighting Allowance if you reside in the M25 area
