About the Role

Our client, a leading independent Accident Repair Group in the UK, seeks a Workshop Controller/Production Manager for their Harlesden, NW10 bodyshop. This role is crucial for overseeing daily operations, ensuring timely and high-quality vehicle repairs, and maintaining a smooth workflow within the accident repair sector.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing daily workshop activity to ensure jobs are completed on time and to specification
  • Allocating work to technicians based on skills, workload, and priorities
  • Monitoring progress, quality, and productivity, resolving any issues that arise
  • Liaising with parts, customer service, and VDA teams to maintain a smooth repair process
  • Promoting a safe, compliant, and well-organised working environment

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Bodyshop workshop controller, Production Manager, senior technician, or similar role within the accident repair industry
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team
  • Solid understanding of repair processes and bodyshop operations
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • A commitment to integrity, teamwork, and delivering work of the highest quality
