About the Role
The Customer Marketing Manager will own and build Fortiro’s customer marketing strategy and execution for existing enterprise customers, aiming to convert strong customer relationships into broader engagement, advocacy, and commercial growth. This role is crucial for identifying and developing new Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) opportunities from existing customers by reaching untapped teams and business units, in partnership with Sales and Customer Success.
Responsibilities
- Build Fortiro’s customer marketing engine to deepen engagement with existing enterprise customers, uncover expansion opportunities, and foster advocacy.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to identify priority accounts, map stakeholders, and uncover expansion, cross-sell, and whitespace opportunities.
- Build and execute customer Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs to engage new teams, business units, and decision-makers beyond existing champions.
- Create targeted campaigns and communications across email, content, webinars, events, executive engagement, and sales enablement.
- Develop compelling customer stories, proof points, case studies, and advocacy programs to support commercial conversations and build market credibility.
- Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, and Marketing to support product education, customer communications, and feature adoption.
- Establish a clear operating rhythm across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to align activity with account priorities.
- Measure customer engagement, advocacy, pipeline influence, and expansion impact, using insights to continually improve the program.
- Build repeatable customer marketing and ABM foundations that can scale across products, industries, and markets.
Requirements
- Commercially minded B2B marketer capable of translating customer insight into targeted activity that drives engagement, advocacy, and growth.
- Experience in B2B customer marketing, ABM, lifecycle marketing, or enterprise marketing.
- Strong understanding of complex enterprise accounts, including stakeholder mapping, buying groups, and long decision cycles.
- Experience creating campaigns that support customer engagement, product adoption, expansion, cross-sell, upsell, or advocacy.
- Confidence partnering closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product on account strategy and customer growth activity.
- Strong campaign management skills across content, email, digital, events, webinars, and sales enablement.
- Ability to translate complex or technical product messages into clear, compelling customer-facing content.
- Hands-on, practical approach with the ability to build new programs while executing at pace.
- Strong commercial awareness, including how marketing influences pipeline, revenue, and customer expansion.
- Comfort working with data to measure engagement, campaign performance, and commercial impact.
- Experience developing customer advocacy programs, case studies, testimonials, or reference programs (bonus).
- Experience in SaaS, fintech, fraud, financial crime, or financial services (bonus).
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot or similar marketing automation tools (bonus).
