About the Role

Paydens group of pharmacies is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to support pharmacy operations and deliver exceptional customer service. This role is instrumental in assisting with medication dispensing, managing inventory, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the dispensing of medications under the supervision of a pharmacist, maintaining meticulous accuracy and adherence to legal requirements.
  • Offer exceptional customer service, ensuring all patients feel heard, supported, and valued.
  • Contribute to the pharmacy team by maintaining an organised and efficient workflow.
  • Manage inventory by organising, stocking, and ensuring the integrity of pharmaceuticals.
  • Utilise computer systems for processing prescriptions, managing stock levels, and handling customer queries.
  • Maintain a spotless and orderly pharmacy environment.

Requirements

  • A foundation of pharmacy knowledge.
  • Exceptional customer service skills; displaying warmth, empathy, and patience.
  • A keen eye for detail, ensuring the accuracy and safety of all pharmacy operations.
  • Strong teamwork capabilities, thriving in a collaborative work setting.
  • Computer literacy, comfortable with learning and utilising various pharmacy software systems.
  • Outstanding communication traits, ability to problem-solve, and the initiative to adapt quickly in a bustling environment.
  • Availability for Wednesday and Friday 5pm-9pm, with flexibility for occasional weekend shifts.
