About the Role
We are looking for a Kita-Leitung (w/m/d) to strengthen our team at Kita Nemo, which has 105 daycare places, starting immediately. We currently operate seven inclusive daycare centers with around 734 places for children aged one year to school entry.
Responsibilities
- Overall professional and organizational guidance of all Kita staff
- Leadership and development of a team of approx. 30 employees
- Continuous implementation and further development of the pedagogical concept
- Child placement management
- Organization of daily operations
- Monitoring compliance with regulations regarding child protection, health, occupational safety, hygiene, and fire safety, as well as inspections and maintenance
- Budget and cash management
- Conducting staff interviews and team meetings
- Representing the Kita and the provider in the local area, cooperation with primary schools
- Partial work in group services
Requirements
- State-recognized qualification as a state-certified educator, childhood pedagogue, or social pedagogue (w/m/d)
- Experience in the field of daycare centers is desirable
- Pedagogical expertise and experience with the open work concept
- Leadership competence and motivational skills
- Strong time and organizational management skills
- Identification with the mission statement of LebensWelt (appreciative attitude, intercultural and systemic working methods, resource orientation)
