About the Role

LCRA is seeking a Records Analyst to assist with document archiving and modernize the organization's information governance function. This role involves managing the full lifecycle of records and artifacts, supporting archival administration, and enabling teams to work smarter with information. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement records programs and policies, structuring filing systems and overseeing conversions of active files.
  • Manage accessioning/deaccessioning of historical items and cataloging diverse media for archival repositories.
  • Evaluate departmental needs and recommend solutions to improve collaboration, compliance, storage, and retrieval.
  • Provide user support and training for document and records management systems.
  • Develop quality assurance guidelines, reporting, and measurement metrics.
  • Lead retention schedule work, acting as liaison on retention and disposition, and ensuring inventory accuracy.
  • Identify vital records and implement protection procedures.
  • Document workflows and processes.
  • Stay current on industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

  • Six or more years of experience in records management, archival administration, library/information science, or other relevant experience.
  • A degree(s) in records management, library/information science, or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
  • Driver's license (Records and Archives only).
