About the Role

The Specialty Beauty Advisor – Lancôme is responsible for maximizing sales in the Lancôme brand by engaging guests, assisting with selections, and maintaining store standards. They represent Ulta Beauty and the Lancôme brand, focusing on performance, guest service, and operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed Lancôme brand sales and clientele goals.
• Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging them, personalizing service, offering samples, and recommending complementary products or services.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations.
• Stay current on prestige training to drive category performance.
• Book appointments for and support the execution of services and in-store events.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and active contact with a growing customer list for Lancôme brand sales.
• Inform guests about current promotions, events, and services.
• Stay informed regarding industry trends, products, and services, and be knowledgeable about their ingredients and benefits.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
• Contribute to an inclusive and collaborative environment.
• Share the benefits of the guest loyalty program, including credit and the Ulta Beauty app.
• Maintain strong relationships with Lancôme brand partners.
• Collaborate with managers and associates to help grow the business.
• Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education.
• Be knowledgeable of and ensure adherence to Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and standards.
• Adhere to the Ulta Beauty and Lancôme brand dress code.
• Maintain outstanding store operational standards, including cleanliness of the Lancôme brand area and other assigned areas.
• Participate in completing merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and processing shipment.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices.
• Execute other operational tasks as directed.

Requirements

• High school diploma is preferred.
• Cosmetology or demonstrator license where required by state law.
• Cosmetics artistry experience preferred.
• Demonstrates significant competency in sales, products, and service.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to positively and proactively handle guest concerns and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Work a flexible schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Attend brand sponsored trainings.
