About the Role

Join our Environmental Services Team as a fully-flexible Hospital Cleaner. You will work in a healthcare setting to create a clean and safe environment that enhances the appearance of the facility. Immediate hires are available, with registration of interest for future positions.

Responsibilities

  • Clean patient rooms, examination rooms, offices and public areas including restrooms
  • Vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of surfaces and mopping of floors to ensure general upkeep of the area
  • Maintain hard floor and carpet surfaces: buffing, scrubbing, carpet shampoo and daily maintenance
  • Understand hygiene standards and infection control requirements
  • Linen and Laundry management
  • Waste management

Requirements

  • Customer focused approach essential
  • Previous cleaning experience essential
  • Knowledge of COSHH essential
  • Previous cleaning experience in a UK healthcare setting preferred
  • General cleaning duties in a patient environment an advantage
  • Full in-house training will be provided
  • Must be available to attend the recruitment day on Thursday 10th September 2026, at 9:30am
  • Role may be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check

Salary/Compensations

  • Starting Salary: £25,807.50. After probation rising to: £27,007.50
