About the Role

City St George’s is seeking a clinician or academic with detailed knowledge of undergraduate medical curricula to provide academic analysis, sense-checking, and taxonomy expertise for curriculum data maintenance during a major curriculum change and the implementation of a new Curriculum Management application.

Responsibilities

• Participate in curriculum review and maintenance activities, modelling data entry and representation in the Curriculum Management system.
• Meet educators to discuss curriculum updates, quantify academic work required, and record a clear delivery plan.
• Undertake academic analysis of curriculum data, working with data taxonomies under review.
• Identify modifications needed for curriculum data tagging to enable implemented functionality.
• Maintain clear and contemporaneous records of analysis findings.
• Present findings clearly and justify academic positions, drawing on knowledge of the curriculum, student behaviors, and business needs.
• Communicate findings to the curriculum development manager and data officer for implementation approval by the academic lead.
• Verify that implementation aligns with the original intention.
• Contribute to discussions on wholesale curriculum review based on in-depth data knowledge.

Requirements

• Clinician or academic with a degree in medicine or a relevant discipline.
• Experience working with an undergraduate medical curriculum.
• Ability to carry out academic analysis of large volumes of data.
• Excellent communication, team, and interpersonal skills.
• Competent use of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Word.
• Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a team-oriented approach.
