About the Role
You will work in a dedicated team on innovative solutions in a dynamic, product-oriented environment, taking end-to-end responsibility for our infrastructure and DevOps processes, from the Kubernetes platform and CI/CD pipelines through to monitoring, databases, and security.
Responsibilities
- Operation and expansion of Kubernetes clusters, including node setup, upgrades, deployments, troubleshooting, and application testing.
- Onboarding of development teams onto the Kubernetes platform.
- Management of Docker-based container solutions and their integration into existing infrastructure.
- Maintenance and further development of the GitLab environment, including pipelines, runners, the GitLab Agent for Kubernetes, and Jira integration.
- GitOps-based delivery with ArgoCD or Flux.
- Provisioning and configuration management with Terraform and Ansible.
- Installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of database systems.
- Setup and operation of ELK / TIG / Grafana Alloy stacks, including installation, configuration, dashboards, and alerting.
- Analysis and optimization of networks, log file analysis, and systematic root cause analysis, up to and including complex incidents at packet level.
- Security checks at application and infrastructure level, plus security gates in the pipeline (SAST, dependency/SCA scanning, secrets detection, SBOM generation, artifact signing).
Requirements
- A degree in computer science, a STEM subject, or an equivalent qualification gained through several years of professional experience.
- Strong Linux skills and solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, MTU/routing) with proven troubleshooting ability.
- At least 3 years of hands-on Kubernetes experience in production environments, along with container technologies (Docker/OCI).
- Hands-on depth with GitLab CI/CD or comparable systems, and with GitOps tooling such as ArgoCD or Flux.
- Practical experience automating infrastructure and configuration as code with Terraform and Ansible.
- Excellent analytical and debugging skills, with a structured, detail-oriented way of working.
- A collaborative mindset: enjoy developing solutions together, document work, and share knowledge across the team.
