About the Role
This role focuses on making a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people, offering support, tools, and a collaborative team environment. You will manage a caseload of up to six children and young people, focusing on building meaningful outcomes and supporting their independence, family connections, and long-term stability.
Responsibilities
- Lead or implement case and cultural plans based on your state
- Work with care teams to embed therapeutic strategies
- Coordinate services, meetings and key stakeholders
- Monitor progress and help keep case goals on track
- Support permanency, transitions, life story work and family connections
- Provide supervision and support to frontline staff and House Managers (in NSW)
Requirements
- Hold a minimum Diploma in Community Services or a related field
- Experience in case work with children and young people
- A trauma-informed, strengths-based approach to your work
- Ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
- A current unrestricted driver's licence
- Ability to meet probity requirements
- Undergo an extensive screening process prior to appointment
