About the Role

The Commercial Banking team supports businesses with annual turnover up to $30 million, providing tailored lending, transaction banking, and risk management solutions. This role involves financial analysis, credit recommendations, and deal support for a diverse customer portfolio, partnering with Relationship Executives to analyze performance, prepare credit submissions, and provide insights for lending decisions.

Responsibilities

Prepare high-quality credit submissions, providing clear analysis and recommendations to support credit decision-making.
Conduct financial and credit analysis, assessing cash flow, business performance, industry dynamics and key risks.
Support annual reviews, new lending opportunities, term extensions and transaction execution.
Partner with Relationship Executives to understand client needs and identify opportunities for growth.
Collaborate with Product Specialists, Risk and internal stakeholders to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
Maintain high standards of compliance, governance and data quality.

Requirements

Strong financial analysis and credit assessment skills, with the ability to interpret financial statements and assess business performance.
Passion for supporting businesses and helping customers achieve their growth objectives.
Experience in commercial banking, business banking, accounting, financial services or a similar analytical environment.
Understanding of lending structures, credit analysis and risk management principles.
Confident communicator who can build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
