About the Role
Wisch Engineering GmbH is seeking welders experienced in MAG and WIG processes for full-time, 2-shift system production roles. This is a stable and varied job with opportunities for advancement in a successful, medium-sized metal company.
Responsibilities
- Welding using MAG (135) and WIG (141) processes for structural steel and stainless steel (FM1 & FM5).
- Fabrication of butt and fillet welds (primarily PA/PB, up to 15 mm).
- Independent work according to technical drawings.
- Quality control: checking dimensional tolerances and visual inspection of own welds.
- General locksmith tasks for preparation and follow-up.
- Adherence to occupational safety regulations.
Requirements
- Completed technical training (e.g., construction mechanic, metalworker, locksmith) or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to confidently understand and implement technical drawings.
- Valid welding certifications are advantageous but not mandatory; expired certificates can be renewed internally.
- Good German language skills.
- Reliability, quality awareness, and teamwork.
- Willingness to work a 2-shift system (early/late shift) and overtime.
