About the Role

As an Object Coordinator in our Financing & Treasury department, you will be instrumental in shaping the company-wide financing and capital structure strategy, including liquidity management, asset-liability management, and cost of capital optimization. You will play a key role in structuring debt transactions and contribute to equity and mezzanine transactions at both corporate and portfolio levels. This role is crucial for our mission of sustainably generating renewable energy to ensure a livable planet.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the group-wide financing and capital structure strategy, including liquidity management, asset liability management, and cost of capital optimization.
  • Fully structure debt transactions and participate in equity and mezzanine transactions at corporate and portfolio levels.
  • Manage treasury operations, ensuring payment transactions, bank account management, short-term liquidity planning, and optimization of international payments, considering exchange rates and currency risks.
  • Advise group companies on internal capital, cash pooling, electronic banking, and interest rate management.
  • Implement, manage, and monitor loans to subsidiaries.
  • Coordinate and manage overall risk management, determine aggregated risk KPIs, prepare risk reports for the board and supervisory board, and implement measures for interest rate and FX hedging.
  • Ensure reporting obligations to financing partners and capital markets, as well as regular internal treasury and financing reporting.
  • Lead and manage 8 employees, develop competencies and succession plans within the department, and actively drive the digitalization and automation of treasury processes.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Economics (VWL, BWL) with at least 8 years of professional experience.
  • Several years of management experience in corporate finance, controlling, and/or investment banking.
  • Extensive knowledge in corporate finance, including selection and negotiation of financing instruments and partners, contract negotiations, and coordination of consultants.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of corporate management and controlling, including integrated financial planning (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow), KPI steering, and treasury reporting with peer benchmarking.
  • Thorough understanding of capital and financial markets, securities markets, exchange rates, interest rates, macroeconomic factors, and market mechanisms, with strategic application of this knowledge.
  • Advanced knowledge in risk management, cash & liquidity management, and corporate, contract, and collateral law (HGB, KWG).
  • Strong cooperation, assertiveness, and decision-making skills, even in complex negotiation and crisis situations.
  • Fluent German and English (written and spoken).
  • Advanced MS Excel, ERP systems, and electronic banking/treasury systems skills.
