About the Role
The Delivery Integration Services Team is looking for a Systems Developer responsible for Delivery Integration Services in SAS’s Cloud and Information Services (CIS) division. You will work collaboratively with customers, analysts, developers, and implementation team members to deliver world-class SAS service, focusing on deploying SAS Software and implementing Add-On Integration Services in a varied and fast-paced environment. You will provide technical leadership, guidance, and support for customer engagements, partnering with a SAS Cloud Customer Success Manager to resolve technical obstacles and define key performance metrics aligned to customer success criteria. Through documentation, automation, and knowledge management, you will enable global teams to respond quickly and efficiently to operational incidents.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and ownership for Delivery Integration Services.
- Ensure that all current and future technical project requirements have a clearly defined scope and can be progressed by the responsible service team without issue.
- Enhance operational requirements to improve system stability, monitoring awareness and decrease operational burden to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Ensure standards and best practices are adhered to and validated.
- Provide knowledge transfer for larger teams related to their customer engagements and/or key technology areas.
- Be encouraged to participate in open-source projects on behalf of SAS.
- Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization’s secure software development goals.
Requirements
- Australian Citizenship required for Security clearance
- 5+ years of experience writing programs in Bash or Python
- Two years of experience in end user and system administrator consulting or providing other first-level consulting required
- Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
Skills
- Familiar with Scripting Languages
- Familiar with SAS Code
- Excellent Communication skills
- Ability to learn independently
- Solving Complex problems based on Business requirements
- Knowledge of programming languages, operating systems, utilities, services, and editors for assigned area
- Technical knowledge of the internal workings, diagnostic tools, and features of complex systems
- Aptitude for visualization of solutions for complex problems
