About the Role
Seeking a Lead Data Analyst to manage end-to-end data conversion and governance for the onboarding of QMS into Nine's P&C and Finance systems. This 6-month contract role involves profiling, mapping, transforming, and reconciling data from source systems into target enterprise platforms.
Responsibilities
- Author and own the unified Data Conversion Strategy.
- Establish cross-stream mapping standards, data quality gates, and data freeze guidelines.
- Translate business logic into actionable ETL transformation specifications.
- Oversee and direct the Data Engineer’s execution on technical data pipelines.
- Orchestrate end-to-end data validation routines across Mock 1, Mock 2, and final Cutover stages.
- Lead Business Data Owners through data profiling, field-level cleansing, mock run variance reconciliations, and audit reporting.
- Troubleshoot data issues and errors, working with the Business to resolve.
Requirements
- Strong background as a Lead Data Analyst with hands-on experience in large-scale enterprise data migrations.
- Technical familiarity and working knowledge of Workday (HCM/P&C) and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Ecosystem).
- Demonstrated experience defining crosswalk logic, writing ETL transformation specifications, and managing data quality gates.
- Proven leadership capabilities in directing engineering work and guiding business SMEs through data cleansing and reconciliation.
- Deep experience in financial data reconciliation ($0-variance tolerance) and HR/employee master data validation.
- Must have the right to lawfully work and live in Australia.
