About the Role
Shape the future direction of Cabin Crew through strategy, transformation, and data-driven decision making. This role is responsible for driving strategic analysis, workforce insights, and transformation initiatives for Qantas Cabin Crew and its approximately 7,000 employees.
Responsibilities
- Transform complex workforce, operational and commercial challenges into actionable strategic recommendations and outcomes.
- Support one of Qantas' largest frontline workforces.
- Drive strategic analysis, workforce insights and transformation initiatives.
- Combine data, research, strategic thinking, benchmarking and industry intelligence to deliver meaningful business outcomes.
- Support critical business decisions.
- Rapidly turn complexity into clarity.
- Build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Develop strategic frameworks and deliver insights that influence workforce and operational decision-making.
- Translate organizational strategy into meaningful programs of work that deliver long-term business outcomes.
- Interpret complex business, workforce and operational data to identify risks and opportunities.
- Translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Lead strategic transformation projects or continuous improvement initiatives from opportunity identification and concept, through to implementation.
- Conduct advanced research, benchmarking and business analysis to identify opportunities and drive performance outcomes.
- Develop compelling business cases, strategic proposals and recommendations that influence investment and business decisions.
- Build relationships, navigate complexity, align competing priorities and collaborate across functions to drive Group-first outcomes.
- Provide clarity during periods of transformation and change.
- Leverage data, and insights, from emerging trends and technologies to drive informed decision-making, continuous improvement and commercial success.
Requirements
- Experience developing strategic frameworks and delivering insights that influence workforce and operational decision-making.
- Experience translating organizational strategy into meaningful programs of work that deliver long-term business outcomes.
- Strong analytical capability.
- Ability to interpret complex business, workforce and operational data to identify risks and opportunities.
- Ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Track record of leading strategic transformation projects or continuous improvement initiatives from opportunity identification and concept, through to implementation.
- Experience conducting advanced research, benchmarking and business analysis to identify opportunities and drive performance outcomes.
- Proven ability to develop compelling business cases, strategic proposals and recommendations that influence investment and business decisions.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to build relationships, navigate complexity, align competing priorities and collaborate across functions to drive Group-first outcomes.
- Understanding of workforce strategy, organisational change and the external factors shaping complex business environments.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and provide clarity during periods of transformation and change.
