About the Role
As Strategic Finance Manager, you will own the detailed financial modelling behind Vinted’s payments economics, build business cases for strategic growth, support commercial negotiations, and translate analysis into decision-ready executive narratives while partnering closely with multiple stakeholders. You will sit at the intersection of finance & commercial, exposed to negotiation, regulation, pricing and P&L within Vinted Pay, acting as the Commercial Director’s finance right hand.
Responsibilities
- Own the financial modelling behind Vinted’s payments and commercial economics — vendor terms, PSP fees, card scheme costs and interchange
- Build the financial impact for business cases that decide where Vinted Pay goes next: new payment methods, provider consolidation, in-housing vs. outsourcing
- Support commercial negotiations
- Model the commercial and P&L implications of options available under our EMI licences — and which are available to us via partners
- Act as the Commercial Director’s finance right hand: turn negotiation positions into numbers, and numbers into a clear narrative
- Translate analysis into decision-ready slides and stories for exec and board audiences
- Quantify impact before and after the fact — build the case, then track whether it landed
- Build inside existing structures, templates and systems — not around them
- Feed assumptions and outcomes into budget, forecast and long-range planning cycles
- Share knowledge actively so models are understood, owned and maintained beyond one person
