About the Role
As part of our Forensic & Integrity Services team, you will investigate economic criminal offenses and contribute to their prevention. You will advise national and international companies on compliance matters and support them in legal and out-of-court disputes. As a Consultant, you will gain insight into our entire service portfolio while taking on diverse and challenging tasks.
Responsibilities
- Investigate economic criminal offenses by analyzing information, evaluating physical and electronic documents and data, and contributing to interviews, case chronologies, and legally admissible reports.
- Analyze and evaluate compliance and risk management systems, develop effective compliance and governance structures, and participate in national and international compliance audits.
- Analyze, calculate, and verify potential damages in judicial and arbitration proceedings, and support the strategic positioning of clients in national and international disputes.
- Develop digital forensic solutions and improve the efficiency of consulting services using IT fundamentals in digitalization, data analysis, artificial intelligence (AI), and programming.
Requirements
- Completed degree in economics, law, computer science, or a comparable field, ideally with a focus on accounting/controlling, business management, or business law.
- At least two years of professional experience in consulting or in a company within compliance, legal, internal audit, risk management, finance, or IT.
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft 365, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Basic knowledge of a programming language such as Python.
- Very good German and English skills at a minimum C1 level.
