About the Role

Requirements

  • Proven experience teaching at primary or secondary level.
  • Solid grasp of NESA curriculum requirements.
  • Skilled in one or more Key Learning Areas.
  • Ability to engage students across diverse learning needs.
  • Strong classroom management skills focused on a positive, disciplined environment.
  • Proficient in student assessment and progress reporting.
  • Experienced in planning and supervising school events and activities.
  • Competent in using educational technologies and creative teaching strategies.
  • Passionate about education and committed to holistic student development.
  • Creative and inspiring teaching style.
  • Patient, empathetic, and supportive of students' emotional and social well-being.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Collaborative team player with effective communication skills.
  • Resilient and adaptable in dynamic educational settings.
  • Valid Working with Children Check.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining NESA accreditation.
  • Willingness to assist with lunch/playground supervision and student drop-off/pick-up duties.
  • Availability to attend school events outside regular hours.
