About the Role

Opportunity to join the Eastern Youth services team on a casual basis to provide additional support to clients in the Lead Tenant program. Focus on development of Life and Living skills, routine setting, support to attend external appointments, transport and other day to day tasks.

Responsibilities

• Engage with young people over the phone and in person
• Act as a respectful and positive role model for young people
• Use knowledge of Best Interest Principles as outlined within the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005
• Provide support to clients in the Lead Tenant program
• Focus on development of Life and Living skills
• Provide routine setting
• Support clients to attend external appointments
• Provide transport
• Assist with other day to day tasks

Requirements

• Must hold a current Working with Children Check
• Must be prepared to undergo a National Criminal History Check prior to commencement
• Need a driving license
