About the Role

We are building tomorrow's bank today and redefining customer expectations with innovative digital solutions. This role involves designing and coding applications to protect customers from fraud and scams, focusing on high throughput, low latency applications and developing APIs using Ab Initio.

Responsibilities

• Designing and coding applications to safeguard customers from fraud and scams.
• Supporting the design and development of technologies to automate scams and digital intrusion alerts.
• Developing APIs and applications using Ab Initio.
• Mentoring and providing technical assistance to team members.
• Applying and promoting industry best patterns and practices.
• Developing and deploying high-quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage without supervision.
• Estimating development effort for new features.
• Leading Level 3 or above support and technical troubleshooting activity.

Requirements

• Solid hands-on experience of data engineering/ETL principles and practices with Unix/Linux, SQL, Ab Initio and other data integration tools and frameworks.
• Confident demonstrating coding, design, debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to mentor and provide technical assistance to team members.
• Mindset to apply and promote industry best patterns and practices.
• Experience in developing and deploying high quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage without supervision.
• Experience with estimating development effort for new features.
• Ability to lead Level 3 or above support and technical troubleshooting activity.
