About the Role

Seeking a Cardiologist for an established outpatient cardiology practice in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, NY. This role offers a predictable schedule without hospital rounds or a call schedule, focusing on comprehensive cardiac care in an office-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient cardiology consultations and follow-up visits.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of cardiovascular conditions.
• Review medical histories, diagnostic testing, and patient concerns to determine appropriate care plans.
• Manage chronic cardiac conditions and monitor patient progress.
• Provide preventive cardiology care and educate patients on heart health, medications, and lifestyle changes.
• Discuss treatment recommendations and answer patient questions regarding their cardiovascular care.
• Complete medical documentation through Athena EMR with assistance from AI note technology and a medical scribe.
• See approximately 15–30 patients per day.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Active New York State medical license.
• Board Certified in Cardiology.
• Must be in-network with major insurance plans.
• Prior outpatient cardiology experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care in an office-based setting.
