About the Role

Robert Plumb Horticulture is seeking a Qualified Horticulturist to perform garden maintenance, pest and disease management, and monitor plant health. The role involves liaising with clients and team members, ensuring high standards, and advocating for workplace health and safety. This position also supports the development of junior team members and apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Perform garden maintenance including pruning, mulching, weeding, and fertilising.
• Pest and disease management.
• Monitor plant health and apply horticultural knowledge to maintain vibrant landscapes.
• Liaise with clients and team members to ensure high standards are met.
• Use and maintain garden tools and equipment safely.
• Workplace, health and safety advocate.
• Support and development of junior team members and apprentices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Plant knowledge and identification.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, in all weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and pride in quality of work.
• Sound knowledge of horticulture and soft landscaping.
• Driver's license.
• White Card.
• Australian working rights.
