About the Role
We are seeking experienced Food Service Workers for long-term care nursing facilities. This role is crucial for ensuring residents receive timely and nutritious meals.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and/or assists in the preparation of meals, beverages, and snacks.
- Delivers trays and carts to resident floors and dining rooms.
- Assembles resident meal trays.
- Works in the dish room and pot sink.
- Sweeps and mops floors.
- Disposes of trash and recyclables.
- Follows proper cleaning techniques for all kitchen equipment and work areas.
- Performs other job-related duties as required.
Requirements
- 1-year long-term care, hospital, or healthcare experience preferred.
- ServSafe Certification preferred or will become ServSafe certified after hired.
