About the Role

Rho is seeking an IT Engineer to manage the technology infrastructure for its San Francisco office and distributed team. This role involves providing employee IT support, managing devices and identities, and overseeing systems and tools to ensure efficient operations. It's a hands-on, in-office position ideal for someone passionate about problem-solving and building scalable IT operations in a high-growth fintech environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee IT support, including hardware, software, and access issues, focusing on quick and friendly resolutions.
• Manage the complete device lifecycle for macOS and Windows, encompassing procurement, provisioning, MDM, and secure offboarding.
• Administer core identity and SaaS systems such as SSO, Google Workspace, and Slack, including managing user access for onboarding and offboarding.
• Oversee the IT infrastructure for the San Francisco office, including networking, AV equipment, conference rooms, and on-site hardware.
• Develop and document IT processes, runbooks, and self-service resources to support scalability.
• Collaborate with Security, People, and Finance teams on access controls, compliance, and asset management.
• Lead IT onboarding for new hires to ensure a smooth first day experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT support or IT operations experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.
• Hands-on expertise in administering macOS and Windows, MDM tools, and identity/SSO platforms.
• Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace, Slack, and common SaaS administration.
• Experience managing office IT infrastructure, including networking, AV, and conference room technology.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and a customer-service oriented approach.
• Clear communication skills, with the ability to document processes and support non-technical team members.
• Willing and able to work on-site 5 days per week in the San Francisco office.
