About the Role
RT Health is seeking a Member Services Consultant to act as the primary point of contact for members and stakeholders, handling inquiries regarding membership, payments, and claims via phone to ensure outstanding service and a positive member experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist current and potential members in all forms of member communication.
- Liaise with team members to ensure member inquiries are resolved at first contact or within one business day.
- Deal with correspondence in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide a high level of professional customer service.
- Undertake training, development, and multi-skilling as required.
- Maintain knowledge of health insurance legislation for compliance with industry code of conduct.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the fund’s products, operations, services, rules, and benefits.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a contact centre environment.
- Exemplary customer service skills.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to learn the Fund's products, operations, rules, and benefits.
- Previous experience in promotion of products and services.
- Solutions focused with a positive and resilient outlook.
