About the Role

The IT Risk & Information Security team is responsible for overseeing all aspects of IT security and managing overall IT risks for Rakuten Life Insurance. This role is critical for the company, serving as a central pillar in ensuring its success. Additional staffing is needed for project advancement.

Responsibilities

• Plan and evaluate IT risk-related strategies.
• Manage system incidents.
• Develop and maintain information security policies, regulations, and manuals.
• Collect threat and vulnerability information, and establish and manage countermeasure processes.
• Respond to information security incidents and develop/improve management processes.
• Manage, audit, risk analyze, and perform vulnerability assessments of IT systems and information assets.
• Formulate and implement personal information protection measures.
• Plan and promote data governance initiatives.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in IT-related work.
• Communication skills (Japanese).

• IT risk and information security consulting experience
• Security monitoring experience
• Incident response experience
• Vulnerability management experience
• Knowledge and practical experience in compliance-related matters
• IT development experience in the insurance or financial industries
• IT risk/information security certifications (CISA, CISM, CISSP, etc.)
