About the Role

Roman Empire Logistics is seeking enthusiastic, team-oriented individuals to deliver packages, representing the company professionally and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role is crucial for fulfilling orders accurately, maintaining safety standards, and providing an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Load hand trucks and deliver packages (up to 50 lbs) by foot in all weather conditions, efficiently, safely, and punctually
• Follow strict safety standards and practices throughout all delivery stages
• Operate an electronic device/mobile phone for GPS and daily records of deliveries using apps
• Contact customers, when necessary, to ensure safe package delivery according to their instructions
• Interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner
• Report to anchor points to pick up routes and meet at additional anchor points timely

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to read and speak English
• Have a valid, non-expired State ID or Driver’s License (New York City cards are NOT acceptable)
• Must be physically capable of moving boxes up to 50 lbs. and push a large hand cart
• Consent to a drug test
• Familiarity with a smartphone for communication and delivery apps
• Have a positive, can-do attitude and be a team player
• Come to work on time and be respectful towards managers and team members
• Willing to work on holidays and weekends, when needed
