About the Role
As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for all field operations within your assigned area, including installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance billing. Your goal is to maintain and improve customer satisfaction, driving business growth and profitability for both customers and the company. You will also enhance your technical expertise, including clinical knowledge of assigned equipment, to effectively support healthcare services in medical institutions and build strong customer trust. Collaborating with sales representatives, you will contribute to market share growth through service excellence and foster strong relationships with authorized distributors to develop localized business.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance billing for medical equipment (diagnostic imaging devices) within hospitals.
- Ensure stable operation of customer equipment through regular maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Communicate with customers to maintain and improve satisfaction.
- Escalate customer complaints to relevant internal and external parties for resolution.
- Proactively discuss and implement improvement opportunities identified during operations.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of field service experience in electrical/mechanical fields (or basic knowledge of electrical/computer/network if inexperienced).
- Communication skills to logically explain issues to customers.
- Ability to propose and implement ideas for operational improvement.
- Skill to accurately perform inspections and repairs by reading manuals.
- Ability to accurately escalate and resolve issues that arise at customer sites.
- Valid driver's license.
