About the Role
This rewarding opportunity will see you join the Mater Hospital in North Sydney as a Casual Chef in our Food Services Department. You will bring your passion to the role where you will work with a diverse and high-performing team. You will support our executive Chef and team to ensure our Patients and staff receive the highest quality meals.
Responsibilities
- Support our executive Chef and team to ensure our Patients and staff receive the highest quality meals.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the catering areas.
- Maintenance and compliance of HACCP procedures.
- Maintain variety and presentation standards within the 4 Star requirements set by Management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Passion and dedication with a focus on serving the highest quality dishes.
- A minimum 2 years' experience in the health or catering industry as a qualified chef would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures.
- Ability to work on a rotating roster.
- Must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or have an Australia visa that grants the work rights necessary for the role.
