About the Role
The Seasonal Sales Associate supports store goals during peak and high-volume business periods by delivering exceptional guest experiences and bringing the ALO Brand Mission to life. This role drives sales, builds customer loyalty, and contributes to a high-performing team environment through authentic connection, product expertise, and personalized service.
Responsibilities
- Impacts the business and store environment positively, aligning with store leadership and company goals.
- Drives and exceeds sales goals by leading ALO’s Flow initiatives, optimizing productivity and efficiency.
- Ensures customer engagement and provides a friendly, easy-to-shop environment.
- Builds client relationships daily with customers.
- Analyzes reports in partnership with the leadership team to strategize and deliver results.
- Supports achieving action plans focusing on deficient areas and highlights growth opportunities.
- Ensures effective sales floor coverage through workforce solutions and leading selling initiatives.
- Educates on store goals, company communication, initiatives, new product launches, and guest-facing initiatives.
- Confidently introduces all facets of the ALO business model (Retail, Yoga, Café) through personal testimony and knowledge.
- Leverages company tools, incentives, and strategies to support meeting store goals.
- Resolves client needs quickly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Educates guests and staff on product, community, and culture.
- Understands and protects the daily schedule that prioritizes the best business strategy.
- Assists in processing shipment and ensuring product flow, including visual merchandising and daily replenishment.
- Ensures all front and back of house procedures are executed in accordance with company Policy & Procedures.
- Performs other tasks as needed to keep the store clean, safe, inviting, and operating efficiently.
Requirements
- Preferred 1+ years of prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment.
- Passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences.
- Self-motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel individually and as a team.
- Aligns with and embodies ALO’s Guiding Principles.
- Requires constant movement in and around all areas of the store.
- Ability to lift, push, carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder.
- Ability to stand and move for an entire shift.
