About the Role
Fresh Prep is seeking a Senior Manager, Product & Commercial Analytics to identify, size, prioritize, and measure growth opportunities. This role sits at the intersection of product, merchandising, and growth, combining customer, product, and commercial data to uncover insights, support experimentation, and improve business performance. You will act as a strategic thought partner, driving data-driven decisions across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Own digital product analytics across the customer journey, understanding how customers discover, browse, evaluate, and purchase products.
- Analyze customer journeys and product funnels.
- Identify friction points and conversion opportunities.
- Evaluate menu browsing, product discovery, swaps, and purchasing behavior.
- Measure adoption and effectiveness of new product features.
- Define and improve product instrumentation and event tracking.
- Partner with Product Managers to identify and prioritize opportunities.
- Provide analytical support across Growth, Lifecycle, Product, and Ecommerce.
- Analyze customer, product, and commercial performance across the customer lifecycle.
- Identify opportunities to improve conversion, activation, retention, basket size, and product adoption.
- Evaluate pricing, promotions, merchandising, and assortment strategies.
- Measure the impact of growth, product, lifecycle, and merchandising initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to optimize customer journeys and revenue generation.
- Develop business cases and recommendations for future investments.
- Partner with Product, Merchandising, Lifecycle, and Growth teams to create a culture of experimentation.
- Generate hypotheses and identify high-impact opportunities.
- Design measurement frameworks and success criteria.
- Design, support, and evaluate A/B testing and experimentation programs.
- Evaluate experiment results and recommend next steps.
- Quantify opportunity size and expected business impact.
- Help teams prioritize initiatives based on evidence.
- Act as a strategic thought partner to Product, Growth, Merchandising, and Leadership teams.
- Translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Size opportunities and evaluate investment decisions.
- Support roadmap prioritization.
- Develop customer, product, and commercial insights.
- Partner with Product and business leaders to prioritize initiatives based on customer impact, revenue opportunity, and effort.
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of experience in Product Analytics, Commercial Analytics, Growth Analytics, Strategy, or Data Science, including time at a senior or lead level.
- Strong experience using data to identify opportunities and influence business decisions.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with modern analytics and BI tools.
- Experience analyzing customer behavior, product funnels, experimentation, and conversion journeys.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce, subscription, marketplace, or DTC business models.
- Experience supporting product teams, commercial teams, or merchandising organizations.
- Ability to independently frame problems, generate hypotheses, and conduct deep-dive analyses.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex analysis into actionable business recommendations.
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Self Starter: Comfortable owning a task from start to finish, taking initiative for process improvements, observing deadlines, and holding yourself accountable.
- Strong Communicator: Effective verbal and written communication for clear and professional results.
- Reliable & Dependable: Committed to seeing tasks done correctly and showing up on time for all scheduled shifts.
