About the Role

Opportunity to lead the NSW Police Force Technology Operations Centre, ensuring the availability, stability, and resilience of technology services supporting frontline policing and public safety. This role involves leading a 24x7 operation with accountability for critical technology services, data centre operations, major incident management, operational risk management, and enhancing real-time service visibility within a complex technology environment. It offers the chance to influence executive decisions, drive operational transformation, shape monitoring capabilities, and improve service reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and manage a team of 24/7 operators to ensure stability and availability of all NSW Police Force critical technology services.
  • Oversee data centre operations.
  • Provide real-time availability insights.
  • Manage major incidents.
  • Provide enterprise problem management insights.
  • Lead a 24x7 operation with accountability for critical technology services, data centre operations, major incident management, and operational risk management.
  • Enhance real-time service visibility across the technology environment.
  • Improve service reliability.
  • Ensure critical systems remain available to support operational policing outcomes.

Requirements

  • Must be an Australian Citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen.
  • Successful candidate will be required to undergo a rigorous National Police (criminal history) Check.
  • Successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance as determined by the NSW Police Force.
