About the Role
As the Director, Global Security, you will lead the company’s global security strategy and operations to protect employees, facilities, assets, and business continuity. You will be responsible for enterprise security risk management, physical security, crisis management, travel security, executive protection, investigations, and vendor oversight. This role offers the opportunity to build and lead world-class security programs.
Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and prioritize global security risks as part of enterprise risk & threat management.
- Establish security policies, standards, and operating models across all regions.
- Define and execute a global security strategy aligned to business priorities.
- Standardize site security risk assessments and mitigation plans.
- Ensure effective facility asset protection and oversee physical security systems.
- Support crisis management, incident response, business continuity, and executive incident escalation.
- Define and provide executive protection strategies and travel security program elements.
- Execute within a cross-functional environment in close partnership with EHS, Legal, HR, IT and Operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, International Relations, Business, Emergency Management, or related field.
- 20+ years of relevant functional experience in security, law enforcement, military, intelligence, or corporate risk/security.
- 10+ years of leadership experience managing teams and enterprise-level security programs.
- Ability to travel 40%-60%, including internationally.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
