About the Role
Content designers at Meta craft simple, straightforward and human experiences. Approaching design through the lens of language, we leverage our expertise in user experience design, design thinking and product strategy. Come join our team to create and shape great, intuitive products and services used by billions of people around the world every day. You’ll be expected to design and deliver product flows, new features, in-product language, content frameworks, navigation, product naming and more, for platforms including mobile, desktop, AR/VR and hardware.
Responsibilities
- Design, edit and test clear, compelling in-product language for product flows, interface language, education materials, product names, navigational nomenclature, terminology, taxonomies and other content.
- Apply systems thinking to product design, including defining design system guidance, conducting audits, and creating information architecture.
- Update language in code using internal tools, review code for in-product language accuracy, and create logic for personalized user experiences.
- Provide and solicit feedback from peers across disciplines to improve products.
- Use Figma to illustrate ideas and design solutions.
- Create high-fidelity design mocks and prototypes in Figma to drive decision-making with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, research, marketing, and data science teams from product conception to launch.
- Facilitate sprints and workshops to align teams on problems, goals, and solutions.
- Partner with the internationalization team to ensure high-quality product experiences in all languages.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and lead product decisions, team direction, and strategy.
- Independently identify and lead projects spanning multiple teams, driving alignment with leaders and stakeholders.
- Create internal networks to build community, provide mentorship, and develop skills of other content designers.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in UX/Content Design.
- Provide examples of wireframes, design mocks, or prototypes used to express concepts and drive solutions with leaders.
- Expertise in simplifying and communicating complex ideas clearly to company leaders through written proposals, presentations, or design reviews.
- Familiarity with tools for managing and updating content at scale.
- Provide examples of work in design systems and systems thinking.
