About the Role
We are seeking dedicated Ambassadors to create a world-class, guest-centric environment for all Golden State Warriors, Golden State Valkyries games, and Chase Center concerts and events. This role offers an excellent opportunity to share expertise and learn within a growing sports and entertainment organization.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide directions and support before entering the venue.
- Monitor entrances, welcome guests, and assist with line control and wayfinding.
- Assist guests with needs such as wheelchair assistance, walkers, escorts, vertical transportation, and directional guidance.
- Maintain guest flow through entry points while serving a diverse clientele.
- Support set-up and breakdown for game nights and events, including promotional activities and giveaways.
- Assist guests at the guest service kiosk to troubleshoot situations and resolve concerns.
- Provide information to enhance the guest experience.
- Serve as an information source for FAQs and provide proactive solutions.
- Work Thrive City & off-site Golden State Warriors and Valkyries events as needed.
- Monitor and respond to communications via radio or other assigned devices, especially during high-traffic periods or emergencies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent and engaging interpersonal skills.
- High energy, strong detail orientation, and superior work ethic.
- Ability to remain professional and courteous in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment, including during emergencies.
- Ability to adhere to proper uniform and grooming standards.
- Reliable form of transportation.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Familiarity and comfort with current technology, including ticket scanners, tablets, and time clocks.
- Ability to work Thrive City & off-site Golden State events, potentially supporting setup and breakdown.
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods (up to or beyond 6 hours).
- May require sitting or standing in an enclosed space and traveling between levels multiple times during a shift.
- Must maintain availability for at least 60% of all year-round events.
- Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Serve as a representative at off-site activations as assigned.
