About the Role
Hempel is seeking a Global Product Manager to lead its Cellulosic Passive Fire Protection portfolio. This role involves connecting customer needs with technical insights and commercial opportunities to influence portfolio direction, support product launches, and enhance customer value globally.
Responsibilities
- Own the global Cellulosic Passive Fire Protection portfolio, including product phase in and phase out.
- Develop product roadmaps and positioning that balance performance, cost, application efficiency, and customer value.
- Build a strong understanding of customer needs to guide portfolio and commercial decisions.
- Lead relevant product development and launch projects through Hempel processes.
- Ensure solutions are supported by effective testing, approvals, and technical packages.
- Create clear value propositions and embed sustainability into portfolio and product decisions.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in the chemical industry within an international environment.
- Technical knowledge combined with strong business or commercial understanding.
- Strong chemical background or relevant product management experience required.
- Experience in coatings, Cellulosic Passive Fire Protection, or a related technical market is essential.
- Experience with global product development, optimisation, or launches.
- Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
