About the Role

This is a key administration leadership role where you will drive performance, accountability, and consistency while keeping a high-volume operation running seamlessly. You will oversee transport administration and lead a team of 12, driving performance and keeping everything running smoothly in a fast-paced environment. As part of Lindsay Transport, Australia’s largest fresh produce transporter, you’ll play a key role in moving critical, temperature-controlled freight where timing and accuracy matter most.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the administration team
Ensure adequate resourcing to meet operational demands
Oversee manifesting and pricing to ensure accuracy and correct revenue capture
Manage driver debrief processes
Monitor pallet control and ensure timely processing of all transactions
Train and support team members on systems and processes
Set clear performance expectations and manage outcomes
Lead from the front in a hands-on environment
Partner with the Depot Manager to maximise site efficiency

Requirements

Experience in a similar leadership role
Ability to build strong relationships and lead a cohesive team
Strong communication skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
Proven ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
Self-motivated with strong leadership presence
A genuine commitment to safety in all aspects of work
Ability to manage challenging and high-pressure situations
