As part of our growing delivery portfolio, you will contribute to infrastructure programs that improve public safety communications and connectivity across NSW. This role supports the expansion and enhancement of the Public Safety Network (PSN), delivering increased outdoor and in-building coverage to ensure reliable communications for emergency services and government agencies in NSW. The role plays a key part in managing delivery risks, maintaining safe work practices and supporting the successful completion of infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee regular site inspections and audits during construction and post-construction of mission-critical communications infrastructure to identify and address site risks and support quality delivery outcomes.
  • Provide specialist advice and oversight to field and construction teams to ensure effective site delivery through governance, technical issue resolution, and compliance with NSWTA guidelines and processes, informed by field experience.
  • Manage site access requirements and delivery challenges, including working with customer and agency partners to preserve existing service and coverage during planned activities on site.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS requirements and safe work practices are always adhered to.
  • Coordinate with project managers and contractors to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Oversee testing, commissioning and quality assurance activities including working closely with delivery operations teams and Network Operations Centre (NOC).
  • Provide updates and reporting on delivery progress including UAT testing, defect resolutions and any other site related risks to delivery.

Requirements

  • Must be an Australian citizen and hold, or be able to obtain and maintain, a Baseline Security clearance (with the potential requirement for a higher-level clearance) within six months to work with sensitive government and critical communications information.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with telecommunications infrastructure and associated systems.
  • Ability to travel to PSN sites across NSW to support troubleshooting and project delivery activities.
  • Must possess, or be able to obtain, a White Card, RF EME Awareness, CPR and First Aid qualifications, 4WD certification, and a full unrestricted Driver Licence.
