About the Role

You will work directly with the Head of Finance and CEO to raise capital for our AI Cloud, developing innovative financing structures for compute as an asset class. This is a builder role focused on originating and structuring debt capital, managing lender relationships, and ensuring the financeability of contracts.

Responsibilities

• Originate and structure debt capital to fund vendor down payments and capacity commitments.
• Manage lender and investor relationships, running raises from positioning through definitive documentation.
• Negotiate credit documentation, including covenants, lien priority, DACA mechanics, borrowing base definitions, and advance rates.
• Own the financing side of the contract-level model and provide defensible recommendations.
• Support the concurrent equity round without conflict.
• Manage post-close lender reporting and compliance.
• Collaborate with teams negotiating vendor supply and customer contracts to ensure financeability.

Requirements

• 5+ years in capital markets, corporate development, or institutional fundraising; 10+ preferred.
• Experience raising institutional capital from LPs for a hedge fund, private equity firm, or venture capital firm.
• Investment bank capital markets experience (DCM, leveraged finance, structured finance, private capital markets, or financial sponsors group).
• Existing relationships with bank, non-bank, and private credit lenders active in the AI space.
• Fluency in credit documentation and structure.
• Strong financial modeling skills.
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity, a small team, and no analyst bench.
