About the Role
The STC Advocate is the primary in-person representative for an online car buying and selling experience, meeting customers at their homes to finalize vehicle sales. This role involves driving a company vehicle to appointments, guiding customers through paperwork, and coordinating towing, all while delivering exceptional customer service and acting as a brand ambassador.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the in-person representative for customers selling their vehicles, providing a friendly, professional, and personalized experience.
- Drive a company-owned car to approximately 6–8 customer appointments per day at their homes, following all safety guidelines.
- Greet customers, conduct a visual review of their vehicle, and explain the sales process.
- Guide customers through completing all required paperwork on an iPad, ensuring accuracy and understanding.
- Accurately and efficiently complete customer paperwork and enter thorough notes into the customer tracking system.
- Coordinate and set up towing services for vehicle pickup.
- Prioritize safe, consistent driving at all times.
- Assist team members with various tasks as needed.
- Communicate customer offerings and service details clearly and consistently.
- Manage time effectively to meet daily appointment schedules and deadlines.
- Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company’s mission.
- Adapt to evolving processes and training approaches, remaining open to new assignments.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1+ years of customer-facing experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 5 years.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to walk, stand, and sustain physical activity for extended periods (8+ hours).
- Frequent driving requiring excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
