About the Role

As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Support in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide professional customer service and communication. You will help create a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while responding to security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a healthcare-related manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, directing visitors according to site procedures, and documenting entries, exits, and incidents as required.
Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while communicating observations and concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
